There's a sign up in the window of 41 Pleasant St. announcing that Modern Millie Vintage and Consignments is having its grand opening on Saturday, Feb. 20.

Christine Robidoux, owner of Modern Millie Vintage and Consignments in an earlier interview said her flagship store in Salem attracts a younger crowd and artistic types. Some of her customers/consigners live in Newburyport and she had been looking for a second location when she saw the space formerly leased to Windsor & Davis Homestyles listed on Craig's List. She opened the Salem store four-and-a-half years ago.
